SPORT MASSAGE THERAPIST
Lelani van der Merwe
In 1995 the Rugby World Cup planted a big dream in a small girl's heart: to one day work for the Springboks and win the World Cup.
Life took me on a bit of a detour, but that dream never left. One day, I was reminded of that dream, and before I could overthink it, I was registered at college to study sport therapy. I shared my Springbok dream with my class. They thought it was hilarious.
I started where everyone starts — doing free massages for Paarl Rugby Club, then for the Boland Kavaliers. That was the beginning of a long journey: from club rugby, to Currie Cup, to Super Rugby... to lifting the Webb Ellis Cup with my teammates in 2023.
17 years with athletes, 2.5 years with private clients, and still learning new techniques every week.
Turns out the dream wasn't that funny after all.

Advantage Hearing Aids
Colin Samson
Advantage Hearing Aids is owned by Colin Samson, who has been involved in the hearing healthcare industry since 1987.
Colin began his career by establishing a manufacturing facility specialising in the production of custom ear moulds. In the early 1990s, he expanded into the design and manufacture of custom-made hearing aids. During this time, he became particularly well known for his innovative design of one of the early “fully automatic” in-the-ear hearing aids, which proved highly successful.
In 2015, Colin made the decision to close the manufacturing facility and focus his attention on the dispensing of hearing aids from a number of the world's leading hearing aid manufacturers.
With almost four decades of experience in the hearing industry, Colin brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience to every patient he assists.
He is passionate about helping people hear better and, most importantly, ensuring that each person receives the best possible hearing solution for their individual needs.
His approach is centred on personal service, professional expertise and finding the right solution rather than simply providing a hearing aid.
At Advantage Hearing Aids, we believe that better hearing can make a meaningful difference to a person's quality of life, and we are committed to helping our patients achieve the best hearing experience possible.
